How do I install the mobile application?

Downloading the Android application

The scanner is compatible with many mobile device applications. You can find the NutriOpt On-site Adviser app in Google Play and Apple App Store.

Once you have downloaded the app, it will request access to images and location data on your device. This access is required to register the sample and obtain the nutritional report.

Android device requirements

Use Android 5.0 or above. To download the NutriOpt On-site Adviser app from the Play Store, your Google Play account should have a device certification.This certification can be found in the Google Play Store setting under ‘Device certification’.

Downloading the Apple application

The scanner is compatible with many versions of iPhone. You can find the NutriOpt On-site Adviser app in the Apple App Store.

Apple device requirements

Use iPhone 6 or above.

What happens when I get a phone call during scanning?

When you receive a phone call while using your scanner then don’t hesitate to answer the call, you will not lose your data. During your call the scanner will be temporarily disconnected from the phone. You can restore the connection by returning to the app and then wait a few seconds until the Bluetooth symbol is constantly blue again. If this does not work go first to the home menu and return back to the scan menu. 

If you were in the middle of making the 5 scans then all finished scans are saved. However, the app will ask you to re-scan the white before you can finish your order. After scanning the white, only the unfinished scan needs to be redone. The previous scans and the yellow scan will still be there.

If you don’t answer your call then also your unfinished scan can be finished without loss of data.

How can I activate my NutriOpt On-site Adviser mobile application by using the license key?

One On-site Adviser mobile application can handle only one license key. This means that when the app is downloaded on a smartphone and opened, an alphanumeric license key will be asked. Your Trouw Nutrition representative can provide you a license key to activate the app. You can find your Trouw Nutrition representative here.

My NutriOpt On-site Adviser mobile application indicates the license key is invalid

The license key needs to be introduced only once in the NutriOpt On-site Adviser mobile application. Once validated, the option for introducing the license key is still open (not blocked). If you try to introduce your license key for the second time the app will show you a message saying the license key is invalid.
