Trouw Nutrition strengthens structure with Augusto Adami as Managing Director Latam

Augusto Jose Adami is the new Managing Director of Trouw Nutrition Latam. With more than 25 years of experience in various areas of animal production, he has the mission to continue promoting the company's brand in Latin America, strengthening its presence in markets where Trouw Nutrition already operates and "seeking new opportunities – which are many – in other countries in the region."

"There is indisputable growth potential for animal protein production in Brazil and other Latin American countries – from Mexico to Argentina. Global demand is growing and the region has a vocation for livestock (cutting and milk), aquaculture, pig farming and fish farming, among other activities. This reality enables an excellent opportunity for Trouw Nutrition to grow in presence and offer its portfolio of solutions and services focused on performance, sustainability and innovation. My role is to define together with local operations, strategies and prioritization of investments to leverage growth in the region, strengthening synergy between countries, expanding the delivery of innovative solutions and ensuring operational excellence in an accelerated development market", says the new Managing Director Latam.

Augusto Jose Adami built his career in leading companies in both production and animal nutrition. Over the past five years, he has served as Vice President Latam in a global organization, gaining even more experience in international operations. His career is built on a technical basis with a strong combination of sales, marketing, business management and leadership. Adami holds a degree in veterinary medicine from UNESP Jaboticabal, has done Agribusiness Management from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCAR) and an MBA in Marketing from ESPM Campinas.
