Nutreco finalises acquisition of Danish Nutrimin
Nutreco today announces its official acquisition of Nutrimin, one of the leading Danish producers of farm minerals, concentrates and piglet feed, following the approval of the Danish authorities.
Nutrimin became a part of Nutreco’s animal nutrition division Trouw Nutrition with effect from December 1. The acquisition of Nutrimin will give Trouw Nutrition further access to Danish and Danish-owned farms in Eastern Europe and Russia.
This deal will create more value for farmers by complimenting the trusted quality, service and personal attention of Nutrimin with Trouw Nutrition’s innovative, environmentally-conscious and cost-effective species solutions. This includes creating sustainable solutions that fulfil the needs of farmers in tackling current industry challenges like, for example, using zinc-free diets.

The next step in the acquisition is to start up integration activities that add value to Nutrimin’s customers by giving them access to Trouw Nutrition speciality products while also further developing the synergies between the companies.
