Greenline within

GreenlineTN was introduced in 1999 as an evolving program based on using synergistic blends of nutritional ingredients to improve performance.

In 2002 the GreenlineTN within project received the prestigeous Royal Green Food Award.

As far back as 1996, Trouw Nutrition recognised a future demand for alternative products that exceed the mode of action of antibiotic growth promoters. Our research centres screened the widest range of nutritional ingredients ever and repeatedly tested these ingredients in many combinations at various doses in animals.

Such was the success of these nutritional trials, we were able to market 'GreenlineTN' - synergistic blends of nutritional ingredients that improve animal performance - and demonstrate that these perform better than single ingredients on their own. Since the launch of the range in 1999, the performance of hundreds of millions of animals has been supported by the GreenlineTN approach, in both a natural and an economic way.

Research is ongoing, and our aim is to continue launching new successful Greenline blends each year.

Our society requires responsible attitudes to producing food. Trouw Nutrition's overall worldwide objective is to lead the way in designing responsible feed-to-food solutions, in order to contribute in a positive way to mankind's environment and to the health and performance of animals. This is the key reason that our research budget is mainly dedicated to animal gut microflora management.

In 2005 we introduced a renewed Greenline within approach. Trouw Nutrition has developed specific Greenline within supplements per species. These products encompass the knowledge created through more then ten years of research. The Greenline within-solution provides a solid basis for a healthy gut and can be offered inside a premix, farm mineral, concentrate or complete feed.
