Ingredients

The Ingredients Research Centre in Boxmeer, the Netherlands, has an international team dedicated to ingredient research that accesses newly identified potential ingredients for feeds for pigs, poultry, ruminants and other species. The Ingredients Research Centre evaluates the nutritional and functional content of ingredients, and any bioactivity that can contribute to animal health and product quality. This research is done in cooperation with all other Nutreco research centres where in vivo studies can be done and in the Ingredients Research Centre laboratory, where many in vitro studies are done. Further studies are directed to the strengthening of the dossiers from existing ingredients and feed technology, which is studied in the Research Feed Plant
